A Tasmanian built boat for Japanese tourism

A Japanese tourism company has taken ownership of a custom built ferry made in Australia’s southern island state of Tasmania.

The “Premium Dream” is destined for the Ishigaki islands in southern Japan, an area marked by its coral reefs and beaches.

Hobart-based boat builder, Toby Richardson, believes the ferry will be a big success.
