Port Macquarie surveillance boat set to increase fishing law obedience

There is about to be increased surveillance of fishing activities on waters around the Port Macquarie area.

The region has received a new Department of Fisheries patrol boat which will target any illegal fishing or poor fishing practices.

Port Macquarie MP Robert Oakeshott says the arrival of the new boat is good news for the local community.
