Name Port Lincoln's new SES marine rescue boat
Posted on 11/06/2008
THE Port Lincoln State Emergency Services is getting a new marine rescue boat and giving Port Lincoln Times readers the chance to come up with a name for the vessel. The 31-foot Noosa Cat will replace Port Lincoln SES’s current 10-year-old marine rescue boat “The City of Port Lincoln”, which will go to Kingston in the South East where the local SES is establishing a marine rescue unit.
Port Lincoln’s new vessel will be the same as the new boat the Ceduna SES received last year.
