Trio rescued from water after Bribie boat crash

Two men and a five-year-old boy were thrown into the chilly waters off Bribie Island late yesterday when two boats collided.

Police said the trio were in a 3m aluminium tender which was involved in a collision with a 6.4m cabin cruiser near the Bongaree Jetty around 6.20pm.

All three were rescued by the cabin cruiser.
