Diver injured after being struck by boat in Bay

A man has suffered serious leg and internal injuries after being struck by a boat while diving in waters off Brisbane.

The 65-year-old was diving near Flinders Reef in Moreton Bay with a friend when he was hit by the boat about 12.15pm (AEST) today, police said.

A nearby vessel went to the man’s aid, taking him ashore where he was initially treated by a doctor who was in the area.
