Stricken yacht towed ashore

Fremantle Sea Rescue have towed a stricken yacht off Rottnest Island back to shore three days after its skipper refused to be rescued.
Authorities received a distress call from the lone Rocky Donaldson Bonow after his yacht, Moonstar, was damaged by Friday’s storm front.
But the 53-year-old refused to abandon the vessel and authorities lost contact with him until a rescue aircraft spotted the vessel drifting 37 nautical miles north-west of Rottnest this morning.
