Fishers won't be shifted from wharf

Recreational fishers can rest assured they can continue to fish from berth one on the main Port Lincoln wharf.

With rumours circulating that fishing could be banned, Eyre Regional Development Board employment and skills development manager Peter Mitchell cleared the air.

What may happen is other parts of the wharf may be restricted or closed off and the Parnkalla Trail may be redirected or a pedestrian overpass built, he said.
