Researches discover new sponge species

Marine researchers say they may have uncovered a number of completely new species of sponges at Geographe Bay, south-west of Bunbury.
A marine study has uncovered 70 different types of sponges of which 90 per cent are unnamed.
University of Western Australia marine biologist Peter Barnes hopes to get the sponges identified by the conclusion of the study this month.
