New fishing laws bite

Concerns have been raised new recreational fishing regulations, which come into force on October 15, could put some people out of business.

Some of the changes being introduced are reduced bag limits and increased minimum size for pink snapper and a no-fish season, which will eventually stretch from October 1 to January 31 each year, during which none of the vulnerable five fish can be landed by recreational fishers.
