Warnings on marine research

The Federal Opposition leader, Brendan Nelson, says the CSIRO’s Marine and Atmostpheric Research division in Hobart will suffer from Federal Government Budget cuts to other sections of the scientific organisation.
Dr Nelson visited the CSIRO Hobart Laboratories this morning.
He says a $63 million cut in the CSIRO’s Federal funding will have an impact on the marine division in Hobart.
