Earthrace turns heads in Arendal

Earthrace, the eco-boat, that recently smashed the world record for a circumnavigation of the globe by a powerboat, turned heads earlier this week as she gracefully pulled into Arendal’s harbour, the Pollen, to share centre-stage at this weekend’s BMW Norwegian Grand Prix, round four of the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship.
Earthrace, skippered by New Zealander, Pete Bethune, set off from Vulkan Shipyard, Sagunto in Spain on Sunday, 27 April in an attempt to break the record set by British boat, Cable and Wireless back in 1998.
