New life for lighthouse

Tuesday night’s budget included $185,000 to upgrade the Table Cape Lighthouse to allow tourist access. The Waratah-Wynyard Council has been working on the project for some years.
“Table Cape offers unrivalled views along the North-West Coast and inland,” Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson said yesterday.
